I wonder , if it is good for painter to draw sometimes from posters , to have more proficiency and draw good lines or it is better to paint what he think about , even it was not good enought,? all best wishes for you
Hi Evat. Yes I think it is useful practise to draw from posters or illustrations in a book, much can be learnt about drawing from copying other artists work to see how they approach composition, colour and form. Equally it is also good to draw what you think about. I often just sit with a blank piece of paper and just see what comes out, it can be interesting. Cheers for now.
